So I have suffered with really bad anxiety and depression for a while. With my anxiety I always seem to latch on to a few select people and it’s like I cannot do anything without one of them. Atm one of those people are my best friend and my boyfriend. If something comes up and I’m invited to do something, unless one of them can come I end up convincing myself in my head that I cannot do it. I overthink it all and then I’m convinced it’s better that I don’t do it.

Is this normal for anxiety? Or am I just seriously messed up. I really am trying to do more things by myself to build up my resilience as I feel like I’m just letting everyone else down.
